The iPhone 16 Pro also sees a battery boost, offering 27 hours of video playback, up from 23 hours on the iPhone 15 Pro, reflecting a 17% increase.

According to Apple, this improvement is due to larger, optimized batteries, a new internal design, and enhanced power management in iOS 18.

Apple unveiled the iPhone 16 Pro on Monday. The new models boast larger displays, with the iPhone 16 Pro featuring a 6.3-inch screen and the iPhone 16 Pro Max offering a 6.9-inch display, the largest ever on an iPhone. Both models benefit from the latest-generation Ceramic Shield, which provides enhanced durability, and an advanced mechanical architecture for improved heat dissipation and performance.

The iPhone 16 Pro series introduces notable upgrades in its camera system. Both models feature a new 48MP Fusion camera with a faster quad-pixel sensor, enabling 4K120 fps video recording in Dolby Vision, a first for iPhones. Additionally, the devices include a new 48MP Ultra Wide camera with autofocus, a 5x Telephoto camera on both models, and studio-quality microphones for more accurate audio recording.

Camera Control, a new feature introduced with the iPhone 16 Pro models, enhances the camera experience through innovative hardware and software integration. It provides a tactile switch and a high-precision force sensor for easy photo and video capture. Users can also adjust settings such as zoom, exposure, and depth of field directly through Camera Control. Future updates will include visual intelligence capabilities, allowing users to quickly obtain information about objects and places or access third-party tools like ChatGPT and Google search.
